This is truly a high-tech advance therapy that has such widespread benefits to the human body. The primary effect of LLL is to expedite healing, reduction of pain and improve communication to damaged/dysfunctional nerves and fascia.
To date, scientists have found that these tiny packets of energy released by the laser, called photons, must have a specific wavelength and power in order to stimulate the cells. They have found that it increases enzymatic activity and more importantly increases the cellular energy packets called ATP (Adenosine triphosphate). It also has been found the LLL can uncoil scar/adhesive tissue, and can be used post-operatively to reduce pain and restore normal function and motion to the body.
